FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is AY BIO MODÜL intended for?

It is intended for combustion engines, with the aim of improving combustion efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and lowering exhaust emissions. Our primary focus is commercial vehicles and fleets. Other uses are at different stages of evidence; see Applications.

Will it work with my engine?

We do not assume compatibility. In a consultation we review the engine make and model, fuel type, fuel system and operating profile, then tell you whether a trial makes sense.

How is it installed?

According to the manufacturer's schematic, the unit is fitted into the fuel supply line between the fuel filter and the fuel pump, in the marked flow direction. Detailed installation requirements are not yet published.

Does it need maintenance?

Maintenance and service-life information is not yet published. Ask about it in your consultation request.

What evidence is available?

A chassis dynamometer test on one Euro 6 light commercial vehicle, as cited in the developer's summary report, and a vessel operator's report from a marine generator. Both are shown on the Testing page with their conditions and limitations. Two academic assessments review the available reports; they contain no new measurements.

Is the product certified?

We do not claim any certification. Documents that mention a testing institution describe tests, not certification or endorsement.

Is AY BIO MODÜL patented?

According to the USPTO Notice of Allowance dated 11 September 2026, a US patent application for the device (19/303,452) has been allowed. That is not a patent grant. Patent information describes the claimed invention; it is not evidence of fuel-saving or emissions results.

Can I order online, and what does it cost?

Not yet. Pricing and supply terms follow a compatibility review of your engines.

How do I make an enquiry?
